Testimonials from Our ClientsThe following are true testimonials from our grateful clients.
We adopted Brien at 9 weeks old and he was the cutest thing we'd ever seen. His cuteness often clouded our judgement of things that he did. We usually laughed it off to him being a clumsy puppy. As the weeks turned into months we realized that Brien needed some training so we tried a group obedience class. While there Brien mastered "play," and ended up not graduating. We still laughed it off to him "just being a Lab." As he grew, the jumping on people and the counters, the pulling, the devouring his food, and the constantly biting our other dog's ankles wasn't so cute anymore. We knew Brien needed an overnight Boot Camp. While in the dog park one day I saw the sign for Metrolina K9 and decided to check to it out.

I can only imagine what mess I would have been in if I hadn't called Randy from Metrolina K9. My Rotti (Tubbs) as a puppy was a handful, very powerful and pretty much got his way with everyone in the house. He is now 175lbs, and I can't even imagine what life would be like if he wasn't trained at your boot camp.

Hi Randy:
Kelly Lawrence
We adopted Dakota a little more than a year ago. We do not know what her history is other than she was found in January 2009 in a park tied to a tree in the rain. We believe by her behavior, that she was abused and not properly socialized. She is fearful of strangers and other dogs. We moved back from New York back to Charlotte, NC and heard about Randy Clift from a neighborhood dog walker who had seen him work with other problem dogs. We sent Dakota to boot camp. She came back a changed dog. She has learned to look to us for direction and not act out on her own. She does not pull (much) on walks and has learned to come to us when called. We continue to work with Randy on her dog fear and have taken her to dog parks to work with her on leash to teach her that other dogs can be fun. Dakota is much calmer around strangers and we have now taught our friends and family how to approach her so that the meeting is a positive experience with little to no anxiety for either party. Randy taught her patience around her food – she has to wait to be fed and then back off of her dish several times during the feeding period to help her with her food possession issues and eating too fast.
